About Me
I'm Chris Power, an audio engineer working from my own studio in the North West of England.
I came into this business as a musician initially, and this led to becoming a sound engineer recording bands, alongside working as a 310M AVID instructor.
The whole industry changed when it became much easier to make songs at home, so lots of music studios closed down. I was offered a job in a voiceover studio, which led me to work as the house engineer and studio manager for The Voiceover Gallery in Manchester for many years, recording and mixing thousands of commercials, dubs, explainers, localisations, VO and ADR sessions, for hundreds of agencies.
The pandemic pushed the entire industry towards remote working, so I built my own studio and now work exclusively from there, where I've produced thousands of hours of content for significant clients - Google, Meta, BBC TV and radio, Amazon and countless more.
Feel free to contact me at any time with questions like:
“We need a mix, but we want to watch and listen from our own edit suite. Can we connect with you?”
'We need a VO recorded and a mix, but we can't afford half a day in a huge facility - can we book you for just one hour?'
“We're double booked and we need a studio NOW! Can you help?”
“Can you record to picture with a VO in their home booth? Will everyone be abe to see the video?”
